Fitness Kickboxing/MMA
Our Fitness Kickboxing/Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a high energy full body workout program that is specially designed to incorporate various martial arts techniques and conditioning exercises. In this class, you will be focusing on the fitness aspects of Kickboxing and MMA so there is no physical contact sparring.
This program will get you into top physical shape, strengthening your body and shedding body fat. Not only are you getting an excellent cardiovascular workout, you are learning the skills to perform actual functional martial arts techniques. Our friendly and personable coach will help you push beyond your personal limits while ensuring that the classes are fun, dynamic and stress-free. Meet and enjoy the company of like minded people from all over the island who are working towards their fitness goals just like you.
We utilize a combination of pad work and fight drills to provide you with the ultimate workout. Develop the ability to execute powerful punches, kicks, knees and elbows. The training sessions will engage your entire body and bring your cardiovascular capability to the peak. The drilling will get your heart rate up, and have you sweat off any excess weight in a short amount of time. Just a single session can burn up to over 800 calories!
As you progress, you will be learning footwork, angles and evasive movements that you see in Kickboxing/MMA competition. All these will be taught to you by our highly experienced coaches. We have challenging curriculums for each level where you enter deeper into various styles of martial arts, exploring new and exciting techniques.
Our Fitness Kickboxing/MMA program combines techniques from an array of martial arts, including Boxing, Filipino Fighting Arts, Karate, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Savate, Taekwondo, Tukkong Moosul, Submission Wrestling, etc.
