Who are we?
Soup’s Martial Arts Club is affiliated with and endorsed by U-Elite Singapore, which has been operating successfully in Singapore for over 10 years.
Can I join if I do not have any martial arts experience?
Everyone starts somewhere! You will be meeting many other beginners as well. More importantly, our instructor and club members are always friendly and welcoming!
Can I join if I have not exercised for a long time and I am not in shape?
You do not need to be fit to join us! You can work according to your own level and it will not take long for your overall fitness levels to improve. The key is to take the first step!
What are the benefits of being a member?
These are a multitude of benefits:
• General fitness, better health and well-being
• Weight loss
• Self defense
• Confidence building
• Increased self esteem and discipline
• Sense of achievement
• Relieve stress in a positive manner
• Mental and emotional training
• Enjoy the fun atmosphere

Do males and females train together?
Yes, the classes are mixed but not mandatory. Members are free to choose who they would like to train with according to their own preferences. Training with both males and females gives members the experience with partners of different strengths and sizes. This can come in handy especially in self defense.
Do you have grades?
Yes, we have our own club grading system. Members are tested based on specific syllabuses (MMA/Kickboxing/Grappling/etc.) to let members have a good idea of how far they have come in their trainings.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) belt grading will be conducted by a guest BJJ black belt during special sessions.
Do you have weapons training?
Yes! We have our very own knife and stick combat programs!
Are there competitions to take part in?
Our club members have competed and achieved various awards. There are local sporting events for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Submission Grappling and Mixed Martial Arts. Members can have the opportunities to test themselves and even be selected to represent the club along with our competition team!
